Disremember Wins Best Feature at Aesthetica Film Festival

DISREMEMBER has won Best Feature Film at the Aesthetica Film Festival, a BAFTA-qualifying festival recognised for championing bold, original, and independent filmmaking.
The award marks another major milestone for the film, which was created entirely by Matthew Simpson. Following its win at Aesthetica, Disremember has now won Best Feature at every festival it has screened at so far.
Aesthetica Film Festival is one of the UK’s leading platforms for independent cinema, known for showcasing work that pushes creative and formal boundaries. The jury, comprising Jim Campbell (Ridley Scott Associates) and Lola Oliyide (Neal Street Productions), praised Disremember for its ambition, execution, and uncompromising approach to storytelling.
